Hey everyone!
This week was a really tiring one. We worked a ton and were able to see the results, we had 5 baptisms this Saturday. We completed two part member families and then a man named Ramon, who someday is going to be a great leader in the Church. It was one of the coolest baptisms of my whole mission. The only downside to it all was that the water was really, really cold. It was like ice being down in it. I was able to baptize Ramon and one of the kids who got baptized, but, it was worth the cold. During the baptism all of the missionaries sang Abide with Me; 'tis Eventide, it was amazing. The Spirit was really strong during the song.
Anywho, what else about the week....Well... nothing else terribly exciting happened. The weather has been pretty cold this week. For the first couple days of the week the sun decided not to come out so it was even colder. Then the last couple of days it did come out, which means that at least during the day we are able to be warm and the clothes were able to dry. It was during the night that we had problems, a normal sheet doesn`t do a whole lot to prevent the cold. So we had to layer up to get over the cold. Today, the mission sent us money to buy blankets to keep in the apartment to help with the cold, that was nice. :) PDay, well it`s pretty much going to be the same as last Pday. The only difference is going to be at the end of Pday I am going to visit a family of converts from my other area here in Centro.
My companion and I are planning on having a couple more baptisms before the end of the transfer. One of them is a man who is going to be getting baptized on the 11th of June. We are just working hard, trying to finish all the way until the end. Aside from the baptism, it was a pretty uneventful week for us. Just a lot of running around trying to get things ready for the baptism. We had a small crisis over white shirts for the kids, that made life a little hard, but it all worked out in the end and they are all amazing families. I tried to think of other stuff to tell everyone.... but I can`t come up with anything... Sorry...
I stay working until the last day. Tuesday the 14th is my last work day. Wednesday the 15th I`m going to go around with Elder Mohlman to say bye to people. Thursday morning I go to Resistencia, we have our final interviews and dinner with President, and then Thursday night we leave on a bus to Buenos Aires. It`s crazy. It`s going to be a long three days of travel for me. I have a feeling I`m going to be pretty tired.
I love you all!! Take care
